Balmuda: The Power embodies elegant innovation. With a minimalist body design, it exudes sophistication, while its time display ensures travelers to stay punctual. Seamlessly integrated, the dial allows users to effortlessly set alarms and check time, adding a touch of convenience to their adventures. The Power bank features a built-in cable organizer to ensure hassle-free organisation. Boasting a robust 20,000 mAh capacity and versatile charging options with two USB and two USB-C ports, it empowers users to stay connected wherever their wanderlust takes them.

Researching Balmuda’s current product line and brand language, I identified the Balmuda phone as an outlier and saw it as an opportunity to expand in that area. Further research led me to the idea of creating a power bank for on-the-go power.
The exploration phase involved ideation sketches, form development, and 3D printed prototyping for various components, such as the ports, cable organizer, and cap. The design has callbacks from some of its current products, including the speaker and toaster oven.
The exploration phase resulted in two significant concept designs for the power bank. Both designs incorporated a minimalist basic design style for the power bank.
Concept A was further refined to evolve into Balmuda: The Power. Its elegant minimalism is enhanced by a glass and metallic body design, showcasing technical sophistication. It offers versatile charging options and organization enabling users to stay connected during their adventures.
The minimalist design features a time display and a dial button, ensuring punctuality even without power. A built-in cable organizer simplifies organization. With a 20,000 mAh capacity and versatile charging options, it powers users on their adventures.
